Junior Analyst

Junior Analysts participate in a program during their first semester to acquire core skills required to succeed as an Analyst. Junior Analysts gain exposure to business school case studies, conducting research, receiving feedback, and revising work in a case team setting. Junior Analysts who successfully complete the program and demonstrate the values of IUCG are promoted to full-time Analysts at the end of their first semester with the group.

Analyst

Analysts work as part of an elite team to solve challenging business problems for our clients. Analysts are staffed to projects according to skills and tenure, typically working with 3-4 Analysts and a Project Manager. All members attend twice weekly meetings focused on both hard and soft skills required for projects and are provided with extensive feedback during the client engagement.

  • Understand and clarify clients’ needs; prepare project proposal
  • Design qualitative and quantitative research tools
  • Analyze data and create necessary models
  • Develop presentations and design implementation process

Project Manager

The Project Manager role exists to help lead the Analyst team through the ins and outs of the consulting projects. The Project Manager is the first liaison between IUCG and the client. They work with the executive team to set up the project with the client, and then guide the team to the end goal.

Those in this role are responsible for the success of the project, and thus are expected to fully commit to making sure that happens. Project Managers organize the project team work, and attend a weekly meeting with leadership. In order to be considered for this role, you must have at least one semester of experience as an Analyst and be selected based on exemplary performance.

Leadership

The leadership team oversees project teams and general operations. These students meet on a weekly basis, year round, to discuss strategy and lead the organization.

Group leaders are those students who are fully committed to the short and long term success of the organization, have a specific talent to share, and who are willing to serve in a particular capacity. New leadership members are appointed by the current team and approved by the group.
