Ashani
Kurukulasuriya

President

Ashani is a senior Public Health major with a focus area in Healthcare Consulting from Holliston, MA. Since high school, Ashani has been fascinated by the intersection of healthcare and business and knew she wanted to be in a place that would allow her passions to flourish. From her sophomore to junior year at UMass, she interned at The Kinetix Group (TKG), a healthcare consultancy in New York City. During that year, she gained valuable experience in market research, corporate communications, and launch excellence. For the Summer of 2023, she will be in Boston interning as a Strategy and Management Consulting Intern at Charles River Associates (CRA) in their Life Sciences practice. Her favorite types of projects are in the market access and commercial strategy spaces. Outside of IUCG, Ashani is also a Resident Assistant on campus. In her free time, Ashani enjoys going to the gym, propagating houseplants, and tending to her aquatic snails.

Noah
Lee

Director

Noah is a junior from Wayland, MA studying Operations and Information Management pursuing Isenberg's certificate in Business Analytics. Noah spent his past summer interning at Liberty Mutual as a part of the Analytics Development Program. On campus, Noah is also a teaching assistant for OIM 210, aiding students in learning the basics of Excel. In his free time, Noah enjoys playing golf, tennis, basketball and traveling with friends and family. Noah is looking to pursue roles in strategy/management consulting this upcoming summer.

Gabriel
Davis-Hollander

Director

Gabe is a senior economics and philosophy double major in the Honors College from the Berkshires, Massachusetts. He spent this past summer working on a go-to-market strategy for a sustainability and decarbonization startup, Standard Biocarbon, and will be furthering strategy work at Altman Solon next summer as a Summer Analyst. Gabe has experience ranging from real estate at Sotheby's, economic development research at MIT, and small business performance improvement at Berkshire Impact Consulting, a company he founded in 2020. In his free time, you can find Gabe listening to John Coltrane, trying the best Omakase he can afford, or watching Formula One.

Isaiah
Lubrano

Director

Isaiah is a senior business student from Rhode Island who will be joining Bain & Company's Boston office as an Associate Consultant after graduation. During his time at the University of Massachusetts, Isaiah gained valuable internship experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Operations, and Management. Isaiah's personal interests include running, biking, boxing, basketball, and poker.

Jacqueline Liu

Director

Jacqueline is a junior in the honors college pursuing a dual degree in OIM and Economics, originally from Sudbury MA. She is passionate about continuous learning, solving difficult problems, and growing alongside hardworking and inspirational people. This summer, she interned at EY-Parthenon in NYC where she worked on private equity strategy in the healthcare space. She also has previous experience working in the Mass. House of Representatives where she explored her interest in public policy. Outside of IUCG, Jacqueline is a brother in Delta Sigma Pi and an avid cellist in the UMASS Symphony Orchestra.

Chris Pickreign

Project Manager

Chris is a sophomore in the Commonwealth Honors College pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Computer Science. Originally from Harvard, Massachusetts, Chris has spent the last four years running his landscaping company, Kelly Green Lawn Services, alongside his sister. Chris’ interests lie at the intersection of technology, business, and entrepreneurship, and he is currently pursuing roles in the Software Engineering space for next summer. Chris is an avid golfer, playing to a ~2 handicap, and was also a member of the boy’s varsity Hockey, Soccer, and Golf teams at the Noble and Greenough School. Outside of class, Chris can be found competing in golf tournaments and hack-a-thons, playing catch with his two dogs, or spending time with friends.

Filip Vrancic

Analyst

Filip is a sophomore Finance major with a Physics minor from Lexington, Massachusetts. He previously ran FAQ Tutors, pairing local highschool upperclassmen with students of all ages seeking a tutor within the local school system. In his free time Filip can be found skiing, traveling, or spending time with friends. Professionally his interests include consulting, financial analysis, and corporate strategy. Filip is currently planning to explore finance and develop data analytics skills in the coming summer.

Ellie Zieper

Head of Marketing

Ellie Zieper is a Junior Operations and Information Management Major and Commonwealth Honors College student from Hingham, Massachusetts. Ellie spent the summer of 2023 as a Summer Analyst at MizMaa Ventures, a global venture capital firm headquartered in Tel Aviv, Israel. She worked to establish the firm’s PharmaTech vertical and educate the global executive team on the industry. Her internship was a part of the prestigious Birthright Israel Excel Fellowship, a lifelong fellowship of Jewish business leaders from across the world. Ellie was chosen out of all 130 fellows to interview the keynote speaker at Excel’s closing ceremony. Previously, Ellie worked as a research assistant at the Ministry of Jerusalem in Jerusalem, Israel during the summer of 2022. In IUCG, Ellie served as a Project Manager on a private university strategy engagement and now assists on engagements as an Analyst. Outside of IUCG, Ellie is a student advisor to the Maroon Venture Partners Fund, a UMass Campus Tour Guide, and a proud community member of UMass Hillel.

Uma Attreya

Analyst

Uma is a sophomore Psychology and BDIC (concentration of Neuroeconomics) major and Commonwealth Honors College student from Caldwell, NJ. She is also an iCons scholar. On campus, Uma works as a tour guide while serving as a Student Ambassador and the Recruitment Coordinator for the Student Alumni Association. This past summer, she was a remote business development intern with the journalism startup Rolli, which aims to bring diversity to a newsroom by connecting journalists to experts on various topics. For next summer, she hopes to pursue a strategy consulting role in the Boston area. In her free time, Uma loves listening to music (a new song every day), learning about mythology, and keeping up with Formula 1!

Sharanya Vutla

Sharanya is a senior Operations & Information Management major, also pursuing the Business Analytics Certificate, from Princeton, New Jersey. This past summer, she worked at EY as a Technology Risk Consulting Intern in New York City. In addition to IUCG, she was the former President of Delta Sigma Pi, and she is currently a teaching assistant for OIM 210, as well as a Kuchipudi dancer on the Indian Classical Arts Society dance team. In her free time, she loves trying new foods, taking pictures, and playing Bananagrams!

Elizabeth Elvin

Charlie Fairfax

Analyst

Charlie is a sophomore Commonwealth Honors College student, double majoring in Operations Information Management and Informatics. Charlie is from Dartmouth, Massachusetts, and enjoys sailing, premier league soccer, triathlons, and spending time with friends and family. He is the owner of South Coast Boating Solutions, a boat detailing and diving company based out of Padanaram, Massachusetts. Charlie is also an intern at Primerli, a startup in the consulting and E-Learning space. Charlie’s professional interests include entrepreneurship, finance, and consulting. Before Umass, Charlie was Class President at Dartmouth High School and captain of the soccer, track, and sailing teams.

Jason Dullaghan

Senior Advisor

Jason is a junior finance, economics, and computer Science major from Uxbridge, MA. He previously interned at the UMass president’s office as a finance & administration intern where he worked on improving the financial forecasting of the university system through data analytics. His professional interests include software engineering, strategy consulting, and quantitative finance. Outside of work, Jason enjoys playing online puzzle and strategy games, hanging out with his pets, and watching Youtube documentaries.

Dominic Trabucco

Analyst

Dominic is a sophomore Management major and Honors College student from Saugus, Massachusetts. Outside of IUCG, Dominic finds himself involved in student government including a previous Vice Presidency in the Sylvan House Council and now as a Senator for the Student Government Association (SGA). You may see him working at Yankee Candle Village speeding through transactions or even scooping ice cream. Dominic hopes to bring a unique perspective to strategy consulting through his interest in the social sciences and seeks to help the less fortunate via his own non-profit. A perfect day for him involves a morning smoothie, hitting the gym, and playing chess.

Abigail Jorgensen

Analyst

Abigail is a second-year Operations and Information Management major and Commonwealth Honors College student graduating in 2025, originally from East Lyme, Connecticut. Over the last two summers Abi has interned at Nalas Engineering Services, a chemical engineering consultancy, where she worked in project management and quality assurance. Currently, she is interning at Pfizer as a Global Clinical Supply, Inspection and Risk Managament Assistant for the 2023 summer. Abi looks forward to leveraging these experiences in a strategy or management consulting role in the future. In her free time, she has engaged with the Isenberg strategy case competition, can be found taking spin classes, going for runs, painting, and spending time sailing in the Long Island Sound.

Isabella Buckley

Project Manager

Isabella is a sophomore pursuing a BBA in Marketing and a German minor. She is currently based out of Atlanta, Georgia where she completed a remote Social Media Marketing internship with a UK based entertainment company. Outside of IUCG, on campus Isabella is involved in Women in Business, Marketing Club, and Sales Club where she placed first in the Isenberg Sales Competition last semester. In her free time Isabella enjoys exercising, skiing, travelling, making Pinterest boards, and trying new foods. In her future pursuits, Isabella hopes to mix the two worlds of marketing and strategy consulting together by pursuing a career in brand strategy.

Shelly Singhal

Senior Advisor

Shelly is a senior, currently pursuing dual-degrees in Operations/Information Management and Data Science. Hailing from Westford, MA, she holds a fervent interest in the confluence of consulting, environmental sustainability, and data science in order to steer large corporations toward sustainable operation. Most recently, she completed a corporate sustainability role at National Grid, where she gained valuable exposure to the energy industry and honed technical skills in sustainability strategy, carbon accounting and auditing, and methodology development. After graduation, Shelly will be joining Schneider Electric in their sustainability practice. Outside of academics, Shelly enjoys spending time by the ocean, going to indie concerts, and trying new coffee shops.

Quentin Moliterno

Senior Advisor

Quentin is a senior applied mathematics major in the Honors College from Pelham, Massachusetts. He interned this past summer at EY-Parthenon in Boston. Before that, he was an internal strategy intern at Fidelity Investments. Professionally, Quentin is interested in mathematics, strategy, and how data can improve businesses. He plans on working in these areas after graduation. Outside of the classroom, Quentin can be found playing soccer, watching football, or trying new restaurants with friends.

Aiko Ma

Analyst

Aiko is a sophomore pursuing a BBA and a computer science major from Carlisle, MA. Previously, she helped run Spark Teen, a nonprofit that raised over $100,000 to run pitch competitions and accelerators for teen-run startups. She recently interned as an investor relations analyst with Stern IR, and will be spending this summer as a visiting research assistant for Cleveland Clinic and Basic Health International. Outside of IUCG, she enjoys baking macarons, asking interesting questions, and visiting family in Oahu.

Faith Chen

Analyst

Faith is a sophomore in the Commonwealth Honors College, pursuing a dual degree in Economics and Biology. Over the past summer, she worked as a strategy sales & marketing intern for a corporate wellness company, and has had previous experiences as a dental assistant and volunteer ESL teacher. She plans to explore the intersections between healthcare and pharmaceuticals with strategy consulting. On campus, she is also involved in the Biology Undergraduate Research Club, Taiwanese Chinese Student Association, and is on the Young Leadership Board of Smart Women Securities. In her free time, Faith loves to sing karaoke, play basketball, write poetry, and create new Pinterest boards and Spotify playlists.

Meredith Greayer

Project Manager

Meredith is a junior Mathematics major and Commonwealth Honors Student from Harvard, MA. This summer, she will be working at EzCater as a Project Management Intern in their Data Science and Software Engineering department. Previously, she has been the right-hand of a serial CEO, helping found his newest company: Square One Farms. Additionally, she has worked for a non-profit, Native Plant Trust, guiding their marketing strategy. Meredith has a minor in Art/Architectural History and is excited to blend her math and humanities education in her upcoming senior thesis.

Spencer Friedman

Senior Advisor

Spencer is a senior data science student from Arlington, MA who spent this summer as a data science intern on the Data Strategy & Solutions team at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. During his time at the University of Massachusetts, Spencer gained valuable experience in data science implementation, operations, and management. Spencer will be joining Veeva Systems as an Associate Consultant in their commercial analytics practice after graduation.

James Stevens

Senior Advisor

James is a junior Accounting major from West Caldwell, New Jersey. Outside of being a Senior Analyst in IUCG, James serves as the Vice President of Professional Activities in the professional business fraternity Delta Sigma Pi and is a Teaching Assistant for Isenberg’s Career and Professional Development course. Over the summer, James interned at Verizon in their Finance Leadership Development Program, working on a machine learning model to predict consumer demand for Verizon’s device insurance products. James plans on furthering his accounting background at PwC in their external audit department this summer. In his free time, James is an avid basketball fan and a disgrace to the game of golf.

Selvana Abdelmesih

Senior Advisor

Selvana is a junior in the Commonwealth Honors College, pursuing a dual-degree in Finance and Political Science. She is from Upton, Massachusetts but orginally was born in Egypt. Selvana’s personal mission to make an impact through her work has led her to the intersection of consulting and the non-profit sector. Selvana is also a peer tutor across 9 different classes at the UMass Learning Resource Center where she develops relationships with students by clarifying course content using effective teaching strategies. Outside of work, Selvana enjoys photography, nature, watching documentaries and trying different kinds of food.

Jason Sarnie

Analyst

Jason is a junior Finance major from Framingham Massachusetts. This past summer, he worked as an intern for AlphaEquity - a consulting startup based out of Natick, MA while also working as a server at Framingham Country Club. At school, Jason is a part of The Finance Society, Real Estate Club, and is also a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity. Aside from work, Jason enjoys spending time outside on the golf course, cooking, and traveling.

Carter Times

Junior Analyst

Carter is a sophomore Finance and Mathematics major from Tyngsborough, MA. Over the past summer he helped run his family farm selling fresh produce to local farmers and consumers. He plans to explore strategy consulting to help improve his family’s business as well as numerous other firms. Outside of IUCG, he is a member of the Isenberg Insurance Academy, McCormack Strategy and Analytics Club, and a brother of Delta Sigma Pi. In his free time, he likes to play the piano, accordion, and guitar, go to the gym, explore a diverse range of music, watch a variety of movies, and play basketball and golf with friends.

Billy Bernier

Junior Analyst

Billy is a sophomore OIM major from Scituate MA. He is currently pursuing roles in business strategy and operations for this upcoming summer. On campus, Billy is involved in the Aeronautics Club serving as a financial manager for the group. While at UMass he has also gotten involved in the OIM club and completed a virtual work opportunity for strategy consulting offered by BCG. Billy looks forward to bringing a new perspective to the group, while also continuing to expand his interest in strategy and management consulting. Outside of work, Billy enjoys working out, hanging out with friends, playing a round of golf, and enjoying a good movie.

Amen Evbuomwan

Junior Analyst

Amen is a freshman economics major from Nigeria. Outside of IUCG, Amen is an active member of the UMass NSBE. Amen’s interest lies at the intersection of technology and finance, and he is keen on leveraging the knowledge he gains from strategy consulting to drive high impact in the corporate world. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys watching soccer, playing sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Gabriel Diaz

Junior Analyst

Gabriel is a Freshman pursuing a BBA in finance and a computer science minor from Saugus, MA. Gabriel has spent his past two summers working in equity research at Eventide Asset Management, focusing primarily on natural gas. His passion for real estate also led him to intern at Citizens Housing and Planning Association last summer, a non profit organization that connects low income citizens with affordable housing opportunities. A sneaker enthusiast, Gabriel previously founded and operated a sneaker reselling business. He plans to further his entrepreneurial spirit within the private equity and start-up field, and ultimately launch his own start-up. In his free time, Gabriel enjoys building apps, watching European soccer, working out, and playing the violin.

Arianna Li

Junior Analyst

Arianna is a freshman Operations and Information Management major from Westborough, Massachusetts. In past summers she’s interned in the Corvera Lab at Umass Chan Medical School researching diabetes. This helped spark her interest in data analytics and she now hopes to pursue its application in business operations. On campus, she is a member of Smart Woman Securities and can be found playing intramural volleyball. In her free time, she enjoys drawing digital art and reading webcomics.

Kellan McDermott

Junior Analyst

Kellan is a Freshman from Newburyport Massachusetts pursuing a dual degree in Finance and Economics. This past summer he worked for a startup conducting market research and evaluating entry points into niche markets. He is interested in strategy consulting, and currently pursuing roles for summer 2024. Outside of IUCG, he enjoys spending time outdoors surfing, skiing, fishing, playing soccer and traveling.

Sklyer Zhou

Junior Analyst

Skyler is a freshman Finance major from Wayland, Massachusetts. This past summer, he interned at a fintech company focused on property equity. Currently, he is pursuing roles in strategy consulting and venture capital for this upcoming summer. Around campus, Skyler is a member of the Finance Society and Investment Club and has completed a Diversity Development Program in Fixed Income this past semester. Outside of academics, he enjoys spending time with friends, working out, and attempting to ski terrain parks.

Andrea Kohler

Junior Analyst

Andrea is a freshman OIM and Piano Performance double major from Hamilton, Massachusetts. Over the past two years, she has been working as a piano teacher, imparting classical piano and fundamental music theory to beginners across all age groups. She is currently pursuing roles in business strategy and operations or management consulting. On campus, she serves as a Director of Operations for Isenberg Global Citizens, is an active member of the OIM club, and successfully completed the Diversity in Fixed Income development program. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking and baking, dabbling in various languages, and learning more about espionage and organized crime.
